Juniper Corner’s permanent home: open for play starting June 24th, 2026!

Since 2023, Juniper Corner has been hosting mobile immersive play events for toddlers, kids and families. We are a San Leandro-based nonprofit led by parents and educators who believe that play is foundational for development, and that every child deserves a safe place to play!

Our permanent space, an indoor playground and children’s museum, is scheduled to open to the public on June 24th, 2026! For hours, pricing and other information to plan your visit, please click here.

Community Pop-Ups

Juniper Corner got its start hosting interactive play pop-ups around the East Bay. We are scaling back these events this summer as we focus on our indoor space, but look forward to picking back up in the fall. Our pop-ups include interactive science activities, toddler arts and crafts, tumbling blocks for crawling kiddos, a ball pit, sensory bins, trains, and more. We take pride in the fact that these events are engaging and fun for kids and families of all ages, genders, languages, abilities and interests.

Interested in booking Juniper Corner for your community event? Please email eve@junipercorner.org. Kindly note that we do not currently have the capacity for mobile private birthday parties, and we are not booking community events in June or July 2026.

Our leadership team brings years of experience in child development, early education, community work, startup financing and nonprofit leadership. We are parents and educators in San Leandro and the East Bay who know how valuable Juniper Corner will be for our community and our own families!
