Hosted by the Roosevelt African American Parent Group, this event will feature tons of crafts, activities and performances celebrating Black culture. Though the majority of attendees will be families within the Roosevelt community, all are welcome.

Free to attend.

Sunday, March 22nd

Juniper Corner Park Pop-Up
Toyon Park
14500 Bancroft Ave, San Leandro
10AM-1PM

Join us from active play, sensory explorations, creative challenges, and crafts provided by The Garden Party! Kids of all ages are welcome, though most of the activities are designed for children ages 0-6. Coffee, cocoa and light snacks provided.

Free to attend and open to the public; no need to register in advance. Toyon Park is accessible via the #40 AC Transit bus, and there is plenty of parking in an adjacent lot or on the street. The park is mainly flat grass with some tree shade, and a play structure suited for medium/big kids.

Marina Community Easter Egg Hunt
Marina Park, “Seagull” Picnic Area

This annual free event, hosted by San Leandro Recreation & Parks, will include egg hunts and spring-themed activities for all ages. Juniper Corner will have a play area with activities and crafts.

Saturday, April 4th

Community Resource Fair & Easter Celebration
Castlemont High School
8601 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland
12PM-4PM

Join us on the Castlemont field for games, prizes, giveaways, food and support resources! This annual event, organized by Jaguar Speed Inc and Eunice Law Legacy, will showcase many East Oakland and Alameda County community organizations.

The event is free to attend, but they request families register in advance using THIS FORM.
